The Music Ministry
at Mount Calvary
“Friendship, Musicianship,
Excellence”

We have a new Music Director
at Mt. Calvary, and his name is Jon Eifert. He will begin to appear regularly
on the organ bench in August, and will begin directing the Mt. Calvary choirs
and other ensembles during that same month. To help us get to know a little
about him, we proudly present the
TOP TEN TIDBITS ABOUT THE NEW
MUSIC GUY…

River Forest (now Chicago) where he studied church music under Carl Schalk,
amongst others.

his career as a parish musician.

both attending Concordia Academy, Austin.

the Commission’s Lutheran Musician Enrichment program. This program
is specifically aimed at improving the theological and musical background of
practicing parish musicians from across the country.
